Micro Current Neurofeedback

IASIS MCN technology captures the image of a dysregulated brain, instantly analyzes it, and sends a corrected offset frequency back to the brain. Essentially, the brain is shown two images: one depicting a dysregulated brain, and the other showing a regulated brain. Through a series of sessions, the brain learns to adapt itself to become more regulated.
MCN uses a very low-power (3 pico or 3 trillionths of a watt) electromagnetic field to carry feedback to the person receiving it. The feedback travels down the same wires carrying the brain waves to the amplifier and computer.
Despite the moderate MCN signal, it remarkably induces a measurable change in the brainwaves, all without any conscious effort from the recipient. This feedback frequency, which aligns with the dominant brainwave frequency, leads to a significant alteration found in the EEG amplitude distribution. The outcome is a transformed brainwave state, enhancing the brain and nervous system's self-regulation capabilities.
MCN is direct feedback, imperceptible to the client, and requires no conscious effort. A minute, very brief ultra-microstimulation reduces our hypervigilant sympathetic nervous system's tendency toward fight or flight. It enhances rest and recovery by supporting the "chill" part of our nervous system, called the parasympathetic. As a result, a majority of clients have noticed that they feel remarkably calm and balanced following the first IASIS MCN session. Everything that calms and balances—meditation, yoga, experiencing nature, and systems like IASIS MCN—all have one thing in common: They bring about lasting, enduring changes via the parasympathetic nervous system.

In the first few MCN sessions, a client sometimes experiences temporary fatigue, "lightheadedness," or a feeling of being "revved up." Mild headaches also occasionally occur. These symptoms are always temporary and typically last only a few minutes to a few hours.

Micro Current Neurofeedback (MCN) is very effective in many areas, including:
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) — MCN is exceptionally effective at reducing post-traumatic stress disorder and other forms of anxiety. Ninety percent of clients begin to experience improvement in the first few sessions. MCN also improves client resilience, and the ability to handle stress. It also helps create a sense of calm in difficult situations.
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) – In mild and moderate TBI, clarity, concentration, memory, multi-tasking, and energy consistently and rapidly improve.
ADD/ADHD – MCN decreases impulsivity, distractibility, and hyperactivity. The world becomes more accessible to navigate. Life becomes less of a struggle.
Substance Abuse – Because MCN is so effective at treating anxiety, depression, and poor impulse control, it can be tremendously helpful for people withdrawing from and staying away from addictive substances. MCN is now being used at many recovery centers.
It can also help with:
Anxiety / Depression
Enhances Memory
Improves Sleep
Improves Focus

The success rate is staggering. Over 85% of clients claim by their weekly or bi-monthly assessments that they experience significant, often dramatic, benefits. With traumatic brain injury, clarity begins to return, and headaches and migraines diminish. The "fog" begins to lift, and cognitive function begins to return. In PTSD, anxiety starts to wane, panic attacks stop, and sleep improves – these changes are enduring. Clients completing the recommended number of sessions for their individual treatment plan typically do not need any follow-up MCN sessions.

In traditional neurofeedback, information from your brainwaves is transmitted to a computer screen. Clients attempt to train their brainwaves by mentally manipulating events on the screen. No signal is transmitted back to the brain. This kind of neurofeedback typically requires 40+ sessions lasting 45 minutes to an hour.
With Microcurrent Neurofeedback, clients don't do anything but sit still for a few moments. A brief, tiny signal transmitted, feeding back to the brain, does all the work. Unlike traditional neurofeedback clients, MCN clients notice changes immediately or within the first few sessions. Fast action, a limited number of sessions, and the ease and simplicity of treatment all distinguish IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback from traditional neurofeedback.
